With a traditional boil then bake, our bagels gain their crusty exterior and soft, chewy insides.

Lucas and Zach Reckling join forces for the perfect bagel
Lucas and Zach Reckling both grew up in the greater Boston area. There they gained a deep appreciation for food through their family and their traditions. Although neither of them expected to find themselves in the culinary world they were both drawn to the industry.
During the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lucas and Zach worked tirelessly on perfecting their bagel formulas. Forced to find other sources for things like flour and yeast, they developed a recipe using freshly milled grains combined with wild yeast. Together they worked on the recipe testing frequently through friends and family bringing upon the end result we see today.
